Sleeping With
2022

The sculptures of the "Sleeping With" series consist of filled bed linen and concrete stands. On the bed linen there are photo prints of Justin Bieber, Hannah Montana, Rey Skywalker from Star Wars and Michael Schumacher.
The deformation of the photographic bodies through incisions and wrinkles resembles the deformation during usage.The upright position of the sculptures is based on the classical statue form, whose origins were representative purposes.
This series deals with the relationship between fans and their idols – Bed linen, designed with photographs of idols, becomes
advertising medium, fetish object and utility item in the intimate sphere of the bed.
